By the successful jumper stallion Limited Edition (Lucky Luke - Lacapo / Capitol I), and out of the performance proven mare Annex, by Symbol (Trak.), Le Mode comes from a line of talented and rideable sporthorses. His incredible suspension and swing, as well as his modern type and powerful free jumping talents wowed judges and spectators alike at the 2001 stallion keuring in Zweibrucken, Germany. Scoring highly on his trot, character and type, Le Mode finished Reserve Champion out of 22 top two-year-old stallions.

 

Le Mode has competed through Intermediare I, making his FEI debut in Wellington, FL in 2008. He was USDF All-Breeds Champion at Prix St. Georges in 2008 and again in 2015, and finished 2016 as the Intermediare I Champion for RPSI.

Le Mode's offspring are known for their athleticism and high rideability.  They can be seen successfully competing in the show ring of all disciplines: hunter, jumper, dressage and eventing.

 

In past years, Le Mode has sired the high scoring and reserve high scoring filly and colt, nationwide, on the RPSI keuring tour.  In 2014, Le Mode sired 3 GOLD Premium foals - 2 fillies scored 8.6 for movement and one colt scoring 8.5 for movement!  In 2011, Le Mode sired the #2 (tied) colt on the RPSI Keuring tour - SF Ladies Man, as well as top scoring fillies SF Lovin Feelin', SF La Minuette and SF La Bonita.

 

Le Mode was also the damsire of the #1 Pony colt in the nation, SF Spirit (Smoke Tree Snapdragon x LeLady Katy - Le Mode), and the #2 (tied) colt SF D'Artagnon (Der Graf x Leda - Le Mode). In 2006, Le Mode sired SIX gold premium foals and TWO silver premium, with THREE foals scoring 8.5 or above! His 2006 filly L'Emmanuelle scored an impressive 8.6 overall!

Heidi purchased Donna as a green broke 3-year-old from Brandywine Farm in Minnesota and trained and competed her through FEI. Donna also acted as schoolmaster for several junior/riders and adult amateurs and is now happily retired in Omaha with Chelsea.

Heidi began riding Cheri is April 2006. In 2007, they had 3 top ten finishes in High Performance FEI classes in Florida, in addition to winning the Intermediaire I Freestyle Open class at both the Gold Coast Opener (Revisited) and the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge II. They moved up to Intermediaire II in May 2007, and finished 26th in the USDF Horse of the Year standings, 1st in the North American Danish Warmblood Association standings and won the Midwest Championships. In 2008, Heidi began competing Cheri at Grand Prix and earned her USDF Gold Medal.

De Lovely is a 2012 RPSI Donnerhall granddaughter out of the Premium mare L'Emmanuelle.  She was a Gold Premium filly at her RPSI keuring in 2012, scoring 8.0 for movement!  

She was started under saddle in June 2015 and has been in consistent, professional training since then.  She loves people and attention and is brave in new situations.  She is solid W/T/C under saddle, jumping small courses and has started lead changes.  She has plenty of natural forward and is good off the leg.  She has being trail-ridden both alone and in groups.

Stardancer's gold premium filly, Celeste, was high scoring filly at her keuring, scoring 8.6 on movement and 8.4 overall. In 2010, Heidi and Celeste were selected to train with US Young Horse coach, Scott Hassler, in the USEF Young Horse Clinics. Celeste is following in Stardancer's footsteps and is already winning classes in Florida.

Heidi's mom, Judy Hansen, purchased Stella as a green broke 3-year-old from Solomon Farm, for Heidi to train and compete. These plans were put on hold once they learned that Stella was pregnant and Celeste, the bonus baby, was born. After returning to work in winter 2005, Stella made her show debut at Dressage at Lamplight in August 2006, winning the Mare Materiale class. Also in 2006, she was named the USDF West Central Breeders' Championships Grand Champion Mare, and finished 5th in the USDF Horse of the Year standings for 4 & 5-year-old mare materiale. In 2007, she had multiple wins at Training & First Level in Florida and won NDA Reserve Horse of the Year. Stella is confirmed in foal to Der Graf, due in May 2011.

 

We lost Stardancer and her unborn foal on August 25, 2010.

Heidi first rode "Jelsche" in 1993, being name Central States DCTA Fourth Level Champions when Heidi was only 15 years old. Heidi was reunited with Jelsche in 1998, when the pair represented Region 4 at the North American Young Rider Championships. They also won the Region 4 Championships at Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I (Jr/YR), and placed third in the USDF Intermediaire I Jr/YR standings and fourth in the USDF Prix St. Georges Jr/YR standings.

In 1997, Heidi and Emcee won the Young Rider Team Test at CDI Raleigh and placed second in the Young Rider Individual Test at the USET Festival of Champions in Gladstone, NJ. They also represented Region 1 at the North American Young Rider Championships.

In 1994, Heidi competed in her first NAYRC as the sole representative from Region 4 and placed 11th individually. Also that year, they won the USDF Region 4 Championships at Fourth Level and Prix St. Georges (Jr/YR). Heidi again qualified for NAYRC in 1995 but chose not to compete as she was starting college the week after the competition. In 1996, she and Epona returned to NAYRC, this time on the Region 4 team which won the Bronze medal and Heidi finished 8th individually. Heidi competed Epona through Intermediaire I before retiring her in 1997.

Heidi's mom purchased Grethel as a green broke 4-year-old. Four years later, Heidi took over the ride and successfully competed her through Second Level. Grethel had one foal, Freya, by the Oldenburg stallion, Fascination.

Heidi and her first horse Chipper spent many years participating in the Cornhusker Pony Club and showing lower-level dressage. From 1987-1989, Heidi was named the NDA Training Level Junior 11 & Under Champion and in 1989, Chipper won the NDA Training Level Horse of the Year (against all Open horses).
